One of the many holidays that international students here about when they come to the U.S. is Thanksgiving. Our Thanksgiving holiday is a unique opportunity to share our culture, food, history, family, and experience of faith with students from around the world. Students are often surprised to find that we actually do eat turkey just like they do in the movies!

Each Thanksgiving, families invite international students to share a meal and participate in the Thanksgiving experience on our around the Thanksgiving day. Many families invite students to join their family or set aside an additional day to invite students to their home to celebrate Thanksgiving. We encourage you to take this opportunity to share this holiday with international students and give thanks to God together for all the blessings that he has given us.
